MARKO & KELSEY

This couple aren't just any other couple, they are my dear friends and I was fortunate enough to be asked to contribute something personal to their wedding! Kelsey & Marko's story is one of great distances where fate kept bringing them together.

A well travelled couple who chose to wed in the US, at a beautiful ranch in the mountains where they have been fortunate enough to spend time together. Yet the groom is of Portuguese decent and wanted to include his heritage in the day. Kelsey & Marko decided to utilise the typical blue Azulejos tile, which lines the streets of Lisbon, to bring a pop of Portugal to their wedding. Together, we chose a pattern which was true to the region's heritage and I interpretated a modern sophisticated design to fit the wedding setting. The couple also wanted a personalised logo of their initials which I was able to weave into the design adding a subtle but completely personal touch.

Marko gifted these pocket square to his five groomsmen and the fathers of the couple to bring an extra spark to the bridal party look.
